W.E. Rock Western Series in Cedar City Ramps Up With Amazing Drivers from all Western States
Professional Rock Crawling Saturday and Sunday May 14th and 15th
Teams and spectators will all be in for a huge event this weekend in Cedar City at the Three Peaks Recreation Area for the NitroGear W.E. Rock Western Series rock crawling event. We are excited to have the largest Pro Class hit the rocks in years! We will also have one of the largest sportsman classes and an extensive industry vendor row including Maxxis, KC HiLites, Tom Wood’s Custom Drivelines, RaptoWorx, JM Rigging and Artec. The professional rock crawlers, from across all Western states, will be competing on rock formations that have not been driven on in many years. Pro Teams will be looking at courses designed to test their resolve and their technique.
“This event has me more excited than any event this year, 3 Peaks will be packed and the action intense. The list of pre-registered drivers is extensive, which means by Saturday morning there will be even more! Rock crawling fans will be rewarded this weekend as the top pro’s from all across the west will be looking to claim the top spot on the podium,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “Great weather awaits rock crawling teams and fans in Cedar City once again, and of course we will have a great food vendor and a diverse field of media covering the event.”
Professional Rock Crawling is one of the most intricate sports in the motorsports arena. It is technical, mechanical and filled with action. The rock courses are setup where spectators can bring their chairs and be able to see multiple courses running at the same time. The two-day format includes 4 courses of competition on Saturday and another 4 courses on Sunday, with a final shootout on Sunday afternoon, which usually determines the final finishing positions! The winner will be determined by the driver that has the least amount of points at the end of the weekend, similar to golf.
